Meteora is a collection of monasteries perched high on difficult tall rocks. Access to many of them used to be by rope ladders, but it's easier now. Inside the monastery's the churches are Greek Orthodox masterpieces (no photos allowed, so you'll have to visit too).
An amazing place, the pictures don't do it justice, but I'm putting them up for the memories.
